What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been DJing for over 10 years. And we use top of the line professional DJ equipment.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started DJing for fun, was hired as a professional DJ for a different company. Now I am running my own DJ business.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Wedding, birthday, school, private parties, etc. I have tons of experience.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently did a Birthday Party. It took about 6 hours. But it was a lot of fun and the guests had a great time.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure they have good client reviews. Some companies will also offer discounts to people who pay by check instead of credit card, or who pay up front. You won’t know unless you ask but many couples don’t think of asking.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What if the DJ gets sick? You’ll want to know how the company will handle these types of situations. Also, ask about equipment. What types of microphones do they use? Do they have backup equipment in case something fails? If they’re doing your ceremony and reception, do they have separate sets of equipment for each?
